Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate positional deviation of the additional printing when using an eye mark.SOLUTION: An image forming system includes: a base image forming part; an additional printing image forming part; a first reading part for reading prior to formation of the additional printing image; a second reading part for reading prior to formation of the additional printing image; and a control part for adjusting an additional printing image forming position. The base image forming part forms a first mark used for position confirmation by the additional printing in an additional printing adjustment section defined in a top end side at the time of forming the additional printing image in a long-sized sheet and a second mark used for position collation by the additional printing at a position of a predetermined distance for the first mark. A control part performs the position confirmation of the additional printing by reading the first mark by the first reading part in the additional printing adjustment section prior to formation of the additional printing image, forms a third mark by the additional printing image forming part at the position of the predetermined distance for the first mark, collates the position with the second mark and third mark by a reading result of the second reading part, and adjusts the position at which the additional printing image forming part forms the additional printing image according to the collation result.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
