An image formation system comprises: an image formation apparatus 101 forming an image on a sheet; means for superimposing a plurality of binding target sheets including the sheet on which the image formation apparatus forms the image to form a sheet bundle; and binding means 210 for binding the sheet bundle. The image formation system further includes control means for exerting a control as to whether to prohibit the binding means 210 from performing a binding process on the basis of at least one sheet information such as a sheet type, a thickness, and a weight included in the binding target sheet bundle.
