Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation system which has the small work load in comparison to a case of moving a recording material for formation of an image to another face after formation of an image to one face of the continuous band-like recording material.SOLUTION: An image formation system includes: image formation means which forms an image on one face of a continuous band-like recording material supplied through a first supply path or second supply path; a detection unit which is located between a sheet feeding port and the image formation means and detects the appearance of a mark formed on the face opposite to the face formed with the image by the image formation means; and a control unit which starts formation of the image from a position apart by the distance defined with the detection position of the mark as the reference when forming an image on the face opposite to the formation face of the mark.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
