Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce waste paper and enable a formed image to be easily confirmed in the process of forming an image on continuous paper.SOLUTION: An image formation system has a paper conveyance unit 31, an image formation unit 32, a fixation unit 33, a paper conveyance unit 31, an image formation unit 32, and a control unit 34. When a wastepaper suppression mode is selected at the time an image formation operation is terminated, the control unit 34 controls the paper conveyance unit 31 and stops conveyance after the rear end of a last image on continuous paper P passes through the fixation unit 33 so that the rear end of the last image is located at a second stop position upstream of a first stop position; when the wastepaper suppression mode is not selected at the time the image formation operation is terminated, the control unit controls the paper conveyance unit 31 and stops conveyance after the rear end of the last image on the continuous paper P passes through the fixation unit 33 so that the rear end of the last image is located at the first stop position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
