Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress folding failure on a sheet subjected to inward-tri-fold processing.SOLUTION: When envelop-C-fold processing is performed to a sheet P, the sheet P whose top surface Ts is a convex surface (protruding upward) is corrected so that an undersurface Us becomes a convex surface (protruding downward) by using a decurler and supplied to a fold function part. In the fold function part, a first fold F1 is formed on the sheet P by rolling a loop formed on the sheet P from the undersurface (convex surface) side, then, a second fold F2 is formed on the sheet P by rolling a loop formed on the sheet P provided with the first hold F1 again from the undersurface (convex surface) side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 17
