Abstract:
To suppress deviation of an image position with respect to a sheet due to a sub-scanning curve.SOLUTION: According to an image forming apparatus 100, a control unit 11 performs swing control of a resist roller 27 before a sheet P enters a secondary transfer roller 9 and after the sheet P enters the secondary transfer roller 9, and swings the resist roller 27 on the basis of a detection result detected by a position detection sensor SE2 and predetermined swing control information after at least, the sheet P enters the secondary transfer roller 9. Then, an image-transferred sheet P passing through the secondary transfer roller 9 is read by an image reader 60, and the swing control information is corrected based on a reading result thereof.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
