Abstract:
To provide an image forming apparatus, a control method and a program by which a user can easily identify sheet bundles, even if multiple sheet bundles, each bound by staples, are stacked on an ejection tray.SOLUTION: In stapling processing, a bundle of sheets on which an image is formed is bound by a binding staple by a different binding method according to a difference in information for distinguishing bundles. For example, when an output type of a job is "copy" output, the bundle of sheets, corners of which are bound by two binding staples, is ejected to an ejection tray of a stapler, and when the output type of the job is "Fax" output, a bundle of sheets, corners of which are bound by three binding staples, is ejected to the ejection tray of the stapler.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4A
