PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that can execute image output processing according to a user's intention.SOLUTION: There is provided an image forming apparatus (100) comprising an operation unit (120) having a function to display in preview a display image based on image data and an output processing function to execute output processing, the image forming apparatus including: a document reading part (102); image output means (107) that outputs an image; a display panel (132) that displays in preview the display image based on the image data input from the document reading part (102); first output processing means that displays in preview the input display image of the image data on the display panel (132) before outputting the image; second output processing means that outputs the image without displaying in preview the input display image of the image data on the display panel (132); and an interruption key that stops a reading operation after the start of a document reading operation in the first output processing means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
