Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation apparatus which can form an image on a recording medium from the position desired by a user.SOLUTION: An image formation apparatus which forms an image on a recording medium by conveying the recording medium in the conveyance direction, generates image data indicating an image formed on the recording medium and margins formed on the recording medium, obtains an amount of a margin formed in the conveyance direction and an amount of a margin formed in a direction orthogonal to the conveyance direction of the margins on the basis of the image data, and decides the start position of the image data for starting image formation on the basis of the amount of the margin formed in the conveyance direction and the amount of the margin formed in the direction orthogonal to the conveyance direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
