To provide an image forming apparatus capable of reducing miss printing owing to a misoperation and reducing the waste of paper sheets.

The image forming apparatus 10 includes an image forming part 24 for receiving print data from a computer 1 and forming the image of the received print data on the paper sheet. The apparatus 10 comprises: an image memory 14 for storing the print data in receiving the print data; a confirming part 16 for confirming the propriety of image formation to a user in receiving the print data; a receiving part 22 for receiving the operation indication of the propriety to form the image from the user; and a control part 25 for controlling the image formation of the print data in the image forming part 24 in response to the operation indication which is received by the receiving part 22.
