PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily specify a printed matter.SOLUTION: An MFP has: a print job receiving section 151 which receives user identification information for identifying print data and an instruction user who has instructed printing; image formation section for forming an image of the print data in paper; a notification image generation section 157 for generating a notification image on the basis of the print data; a print status information acquisition section 159 which acquires print status information on original data of the print data; a notification determination section 161 which determines whether to notify the instruction user that the image has been formed on the basis of the print status information; a position detection section 169 which detects the position of the instruction user who is identified with the user identification information; and a notification image output control section 171 which outputs a notification image on condition that the position detected by the position detection section 169 is within a predetermined range, when notification is determined.
