Abstract:

To provide an image forming apparatus which enables a user to efficiently delete unnecessary document data without needing any complicated operation even when the user wants to delete the document data after execution of a job based on the document data.

The image forming apparatus comprises: a document data acquisition part 41 for acquiring the document data 30 designated via an operation input part 18; a deletion setting confirmation part 42 for confirming whether deletion setting information 31 is added to the acquired document data 30; and a document data management part 43 which performs processing according to the deletion setting information 31 after execution of the job based on the document data 30 when the deletion setting information 31 is added to the document data 30 and, when the deletion setting information 31 is not added to the document data 30, displays a selection screen whether the document data 30 is deleted or not on a display part 17, accepts a selection operation of the user via the operation input part 18 and performs the processing according to the selection operation after the execution of the job based on the document data 30.
