An image forming apparatus of the present invention comprises: a second sheet conveyance route R2 which conveys a sheet; a third sheet conveyance route R3 which is branched from the second sheet conveyance route R2 and conveys the sheet from the second sheet conveyance route R2; a reverse roll 57 which puts the sheet conveyed from the second sheet conveyance route R2 to the third sheet conveyance route R3 on another sheet conveyed by the second sheet conveyance route R2 and conveys them from the third sheet conveyance route R3 to the second sheet conveyance route R2 to arrange the sheets neatly; and a binding unit 60 which deforms a part of a sheet bundle arranged by the reverse roll 57 and binds the sheet bundle by making the deformed part of each sheet of the sheet bundle engaged with each other.
