Abstract:
To provide an image forming apparatus which secures the satisfactory transfer and solves the failure in a picture occurring in the subsequent printing.
In the image forming apparatus, toner on a photoreceptor is transferred on recording material by means of the transfer bias which is impressed on a transferring means using a transfer roller. Therein, a transfer bias impressing means has both systems of constant current control and constant voltage control which are switched and a charge removal means which is located on the downstream side than the transfer position on the photoreceptor and removes charges on the photoreceptor by contacting on the upstream side than the position of charging is disposed.
