Abstract:

To prevent the occurence of filming on a photoreceptor.

In the image forming apparatus in which the photoreceptor (1) is charged by a brush charger (2), and after exposure and development, transfer to a transfer medium (7) is carried out, and toner (8) remaining on the photoreceptor after the transfer is recovered by the brush charger simultaneously with charging, a spherical toner is used and the photoreceptor and transfer medium are driven with a speed difference.
