The carriage 3 is equipped with recording heads 7c, 7m, 7y and 7k which are composed of four inkjet heads for ejecting ink droplets of respective colors, that is, cyan (C), magenta (M), yellow (Y) and black (K), and a recording head 7w which is composed of an inkjet head for ejecting an ink droplet of white (W), so that light-colored imaging can be done by using a white color and so that the tracking pattern can be imaged.
