Abstract:
To provide an image forming apparatus capable of suppressing distortion of an unfixed toner image formed on the carrying member side surface of a recording body.
The toner image height (pile height) of a solid image on the carrying belt side surface of recording paper is made smaller than the pile height of a solid image on a surface of the recording paper different from the carrying belt side surface. Distortion of the unfixed image on the carrying belt side surface of the recording paper due to rubbing with a carrying belt 51 can be suppressed as compared with the case of the same pile height of solid images on both surfaces of recording paper.
