An image forming apparatus (A) is equipped with magazine guides 202 which guide a magazine 100 to a mounting position while regulating displacement in a carrying-in width direction within a predetermined range. The floor 203 of a magazine housing unit 200 is provided with a notch 258a where a pin 242a formed on the bottom face of the magazine 100 is fitted. The notch 258a has a pair of side edges 259a which position the pin 242a in the carrying-in width direction Y and a pair of aperture edges 260a which are disposed in a front side of the carrying-in direction X than the pair of side edges 259a and which guide the pin 242a while regulating the displacement of the magazine 100 in the carrying-in width direction Y to be smaller than the regulation by the magazine guides 202. An entrance part of the pair of aperture edges 260a at a front side of the carrying-in direction X spreads in the carrying-in width direction Y than a predetermined distance.
