An image forming apparatus (A) is equipped with: a positioning unit 230 that positions a magazine 100 in a carrying-in width direction Y at a mounting position by fitting pins 242a, 242b formed on the bottom face of the magazine 100 to notches 258a, 258b provided on a floor 203 of a magazine housing unit 200; lift rollers 255a, 255b disposed on the floor 203; and running faces 243a, 243b which are disposed on the bottom face of the magazine 100 and which run over the lift rollers 255a, 255b when the magazine 100 is mounted on the mounting position. The pins 242a, 242b and the notches 258a, 258b are fitted while a caster 111 is raised above the floor 203 when the running faces 243a, 243b run over the lift rollers 255a, 255b.
