Abstract:

To provide an image forming apparatus equipped with a display part so that display content can be easily viewed by both a user who directly operates an operation part and a user who is present at a remote place.

An ejection part 2 for ejecting printed paper is provided at the lower part of a reading part 1 for reading an image from an original, and the operation part 3 is arranged on this side of the ejection part 2 so that it has a level difference from the ejection part 2 and its operation surface is directed upward. A display panel 11 is provided at the level difference part between the ejection part 2 and the operation part 3, and a light emitting diode 12 displaying an operation state is attached to the display panel 11.
