Abstract:
To provide an image forming apparatus for surely controlling meandering of an intermediate transfer belt 24.
The image forming apparatus forming an image by transferring an image formed on a rotating photoreceptor drum 20 to the intermediate transfer belt 24 travelling in press contact with the photoreceptor drum 20 is provided with a belt end detection sensor 201 detecting meandering of the intermediate transfer belt 24 when travelling and an inclination changing means changing the inclination of the photoreceptor drum 20 to the travelling direction of the intermediate transfer belt 24 according to the detected result of the belt end detection sensor 201.
