Abstract:
To form an image in an appropriate position even when distortion arises in an image forming apparatus.
Time taken for mark detection sensors 520A and 520B to detect reference marks M1 and M2 from the time when an exposure section 430K starts writing the reference marks M1 and M2 on a photoreceptor 410K are clocked for the reference marks M1 and M2. When there is a difference in clocking time between them, the second cylindrical lens or reflection mirror of the exposure part 430K is adjusted.
