To solve the problem that there is no other way to change setting information of a job than cancel the job once and retransmit the job with the setting information changed new when processing of the received job is once started in an image forming apparatus.

In the image forming apparatus, in order to resume the job by extracting setting-changeable items on the basis of job information and progressing state of the job stopped upon receipt of a stopping request of the job being executed, and by changing the setting-changeable job information, setting change of the job becomes possible even without performing cancellation and retransmission of the job even if it is the job once started processing.
