Abstract:
To provide an image forming apparatus which prevents dielectric breakdown.
In the image forming apparatus 10 which includes an amorphous silicon photoreceptor 122 and a cleaning means 123 for cleaning the amorphous silicon photoreceptor 122 and forms images using toner containing conductive titanium oxide as an external additive, the toner has at least one peak within the range of a particle diameter of 0.6 to 2.0 m in measurement by a flow type particle image analyzer, and the ratio (number% after printing/number% before printing) of the number% within the range of the particle diameter of 0.6 to 2.0 m in measurement by the flow type particle image analyzer before printing and after 5,000 sheets printing is 0.4 to 0.7.
