When a requirement of image formation (S21) is received, whether or not paper feeding cassette 28 is loaded or unloaded before the requirement of image formation is determined (S22). When determined that the paper feeding cassette 28 is loaded or unloaded (YES in S22), whether size of the paper in the paper feeding cassette 28 is the same as that of paper P required to form an image is determined (S23). If paper is newly added, a bent amount of the paper P is measured by a loop sensor 51 (S26), and a correction value is calculated on the basis of the measured bent amount of the paper P (S27) for image formation on the first paper. By applying the correction value for circumferential speed of a heat roller 41, the circumferential speed of the heat roller 41 is changed (S28).
