An image forming apparatus includes a printing part performing printing on one surface of a paper, a paper reversing part conveying the paper printed by the printing part to a circulation path to pass the paper through the circulation path so as to reverse the inside and outside of the paper and re-feed the paper to the printing part, and a control part controlling the conveyance of the paper. Stop points P2 and P3 where the conveyance of the paper is stopped are provided in the circulation path besides a stop point P1 where the conveyance is temporarily stopped to feed the paper to the printing part at a timing for printing and when the correction of the image quality is executed during double-sided printing, the control part stops the conveyance of the paper in the circulation path at the stop point, according to the timing of executing the correction and stops the conveyance of the paper following the paper as well.
