Abstract:
To provide an image forming apparatus that prevents the occurrence of abnormal images resulting from a variation in density of toner caused by a change in particle size distribution of the toner that is brought about by replacing a toner container, and contributes to high image quality and improvement in quality of printings.
When a toner container is set to an image forming apparatus body, control means 86 reads data relating to a particle size distribution of toner recorded in a recording unit 108 that is provided to the toner container, controls exposure power of an exposure device on the basis of the read data, and adjusts density of a toner image formed on a photoreceptor drum.
