Abstract:
To provide an image forming apparatus capable of maintaining a uniform toner density of a developer in a developing device.
An image forming apparatus 1 includes: a developing device 105 that uses a developer comprising a toner and a carrier; a toner supply device 112 that supplies a toner to the developing device; and a control unit 10 that acquires the amount of toner to be supplied from the pixel count of an image to be printed, and variably controls the number of times of toner supply to the developing device in accordance with the pixel count and image printing speed.
