Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of reducing stress on a user by attaining smooth operation of a UI without temporarily stopping various types of jobs, even if the throughput of a CPU is short.SOLUTION: On the basis of the job condition of a job under permission determination, a job execution controller (104) calculates a CPU activity ratio accompanying the execution of the job, restricts the operation condition of the image forming apparatus when the CPU activity ratio comes to exceed a predetermined value, but permits the execution of the job in accordance with the restricted operation condition when the CPU activity ratio at this time becomes less than or equal to the predetermined value. The CPU activity ratio when the operation condition is restricted is calculated in consideration of a processing wait time registered in a hard resource management table (108) and a processing wait time registered in a memory resource management table (109).
