Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus configured to prevent deterioration of photoreceptor drums for Y, M, C during Bk output, without enlarging the apparatus, with comparatively simple configuration.SOLUTION: During Bk output, a contact position between a photoreceptor drum for Bk and a transfer material is arranged in a direction where photoreceptor drums for Y, M, C are separated from the transfer material, thereby securing sufficient distance between the photoreceptor drums Y, M, C and the transfer material. Deterioration of the photoreceptor drums for Y, M, C during Bk output can be prevented without enlarging the apparatus, with comparatively simple configuration.
