Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus configured to improve accuracy of detecting surface temperature of a heater.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes a fixing apparatus which comprises a plurality of heating bodies arranged in a main-scanning direction, and a plurality of temperature sensors for detecting temperature of the heating bodies. The image forming apparatus includes: a calculation unit which calculates an amount of change at predetermined intervals in output value in the temperature sensors; and a correction unit which corrects outputs of the temperature sensors when the amount of change is equal to or less than a predetermined value.
