Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress an increase in temperature of an end part of a developing roller in a developing device of an image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: A base end part of a regulating blade 36, which is brought into contact with a developing roller 32 on a free end side, is held between a metallic holding member 38 and stationary member 40; a length of the stationary member 40 is made shorter than a length of the regulating blade 36; and a portion of the regulating blade 36 located outside the stationary member 40 is taken as a free end that is not fixed to the holding member 38, and a notch 36b is provided to the free end portion.
