Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of cleaning a light transmission member of an optical scanner without driving means such as a driving motor for moving a cleaning member.SOLUTION: A printer includes: a cleaning member 51 that is slid on a surface of a seal glass 90 from which laser beams are emitted, and cleans the seal glass 90; and an interlocking mechanism that moves the cleaning member 51 so that the cleaning member 51 is interlocked with an opening/closing operation of an opening/closing cover to be slid on the surface of the seal glass 90.
