Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently correct warpage formed at an end of a recording medium in a direction (main scanning direction of the device) orthogonal to a recording medium discharge direction.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes: an image forming section for forming an image on a surface of a recording medium; a fixing section for fixing an unfixed developer image transferred on the surface of the recording medium; a discharge section which discharges the recording medium with the developer image fixed thereon to a medium stacking section; and air supply means which supplies air via an outlet to a correction area formed at an end of the recording medium in a direction orthogonal to a discharge direction. The image forming apparatus sufficiently corrects warpage formed at the end of a recording medium in a direction (main scanning direction of the device) orthogonal to a recording medium discharge direction.
