Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of rapidly performing print processing on the basis of a plurality of print data when the print processing on the basis of the plurality of print data is continuously executed.SOLUTION: It is determined whether printing execution information is received from an information processing apparatus, where printing execution information indicating that, before receiving print data related to second printing to be executed subsequently to first printing, execution of the second printing is started or possibly started until execution of capping operation associated with completion of the first printing is started. When no receipt of the printing execution information is determined as a result, the execution of the capping operation is started after the lapse of a first time from completion of the first printing. On the other hand, when the receipt of the printing execution information is determined, the execution of the capping operation is started after the lapse of a second time longer than the first time from the completion of the first printing.
