Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus configured to reduce variability of the amount of toner to be supplied per unit rotation time by conveyance means, due to a difference in toner conveyance force of the conveyance means with mechanical configuration.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 100 includes: a toner bottle 10 for storing toner; a developing apparatus 14 for developing an electrostatic image on a surface of an image carrier with toner; a sub-hopper 11 for conveying toner stored in the toner bottle 10 to the developing apparatus 14; and a CPU 88 which measures conveyance time required for the sub-hopper 11 to convey a predetermined amount of toner, to correct the amount of toner to be conveyed, which is determined from the conveyance time of the sub-hopper 11 on the basis of the measured time.
