Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus and a composite device, capable of reducing the burden of the operation of a user by eliminating the need of a process for operating a lock lever by the user, when a transfer unit is locked/unlocked to/from an apparatus body.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 100 includes image forming units 110K, 110Y, 110M, and 110C, a transfer unit 200, and an engagement part 305 which is movable between a first position where an apparatus body 100a and the transfer unit 200 are engaged and a second position where the engagement of the apparatus body 100a and the transfer unit 200 is released. The image forming units 110K, 110Y, 110M, and 110C are attached to the apparatus body 100a, so that the engagement part 305 is moved to the first position and the image forming units 110K, 110Y, 110M, and 110C are detached from the apparatus part 100a, so that the engagement part 305 is moved to the second position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
