Abstract:
To provide an image forming apparatus adapted to easily identify a boundary of sheet bundles even if a different loading mode is established in a plurality of printing jobs forming a sheet bundle.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus is adapted to acquire a sheet-bundle loading mode in a second printing job (step S701). If the acquired loading mode differs from a sheet-bundle loading mode in a first printing job executed earlier ("YES" in step S702), a caution is notified that a sheet bundle in a different loading mode is mixed loaded on a paper discharge tray 142 (step S705) and then the second printing job is stopped (step S706), or otherwise after the caution, a notification is made that an output of a sheet bundle is possible on condition that the sheet bundle on the paper discharge tray 142 has been removed ("YES" in step S1106), or after the caution, the sheet-bundle loading mode in the second printing job is changed to the same mode as the sheet-bundle loading mode in the first job.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
