Abstract:
To provide an image forming apparatus which is easily maintained.SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus comprises: a sheet conveying path for conveying a sheet; a voltage application means applying a voltage to a predetermined member (12) in contact with the sheet passing through the sheet conveying path; and a current detecting means detecting the current supplied to the predetermined member by the voltage application means. The image forming apparatus can perform a notification operation allowing for identification of a member to be replaced. The apparatus changes the notification content when performing the notification operation based on the detection result of the current detecting means when a delay of sheet conveyance in the sheet conveying path occurs.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
