Abstract:
To solve the problem in which: conventionally, even through a change in magnification in the conveyance direction of an image formed on a sheet is different for every job, adjustment of the magnification in the conveyance direction depending on a job cannot be performed, and the size of the image formed on the sheet may be different from an intended one.SOLUTION: A control unit included in an image forming apparatus selects an image adjustment chart used for adjusting the magnification in a conveyance direction changing along the conveyance direction of an image that is transferred to a sheet by a transfer unit according to a job condition for a job executed this time. The control unit adjusts the magnification in the conveyance direction of an image formed by an image forming unit on the basis of the image adjustment chart formed on the sheet by the image forming unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
