Abstract:
To provide means that prevents media on which images are formed from being mixed.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes an image formation part that forms an image on continuous paper on the basis of image data corresponding to a printing job composed of a plurality of pages, a conveyance part that conveys the continuous paper on which the image is formed in a conveyance direction while sandwiching the continuous paper, and a cutting part that performs half cut or full cut of the continuous paper, in which the cutting part performs half cut of the continuous paper at a position corresponding between a rear end on the first page and a front end on the second page of the printing job in the conveyance direction, and the conveyance part stops the continuous paper subjected to half cut by the cutting part corresponding to the second page while sandwiching the continuous paper, and the control part controls the cutting part so as to restart conveyance of the continuous paper by the conveyance part and to perform full cut of the position corresponding to the rear end on the second and succeeding pages when it has been detected that there is no continuous paper corresponding to the first page by the detection part during a predetermined period.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
