Abstract:
To solve the problem in which a configuration is required to control the rotation speed of a sheet exit roller on the basis of the load torque applied to a motor when the sheet exit roller is driven by constant current control.SOLUTION: A sheet conveyance device conveys a sheet S from a fixing roller 151 of the fixing unit 150 to pre-sheet-discharge rollers 181 and sheet-discharge rollers 182 of a sheet discharge unit 180. The pre-sheet-discharge roller 181 and the sheet-discharge roller 182 are driven by a same motor. The motor is speed-controlled on the basis of a difference between a torque when the sheet S is not being conveyed by the sheet discharge unit 180 and a torque when the sheet S is being conveyed by the fixing unit 150 and the sheet discharge unit 180.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
