Abstract:
To achieve both prevention of hot offset and adhesive properties.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus comprises: fixing means that heats a toner image (53c) formed on a sheet and a powder adhesive (Tn) applied to the sheet to fix the toner image to the sheet; folding means (31) that folds the sheet; and bonding means (32) that heats the sheet folded by the folding means while sandwiching and conveying the sheet at a nip part (32N) formed between a heating member (32b) and a pressure member (32a) and bonding the sheet with a powder adhesive. A portion (P1) on a leading end side of the sheet when the sheet is conveyed from the fixing means toward the folding means is brought into contact with the heating member at the nip part of the bonding means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
