A plurality of apertures 6 are aligned on one row and formed on the insulating sheet 2 of an aperture electrode 1, and a plurality of control electrodes 4 are formed corresponding to the respective apertures 6. A pair of deflecting electrodes 3 are disposed at both right and left ends of the sheet 2. When a control voltage is applied to the electrodes 4 so that the toner is discharged from the apertures 6, a deflecting voltage is applied to the electrodes 3 to bend the toner in rightward or leftward direction to be flown, and hence the apparent resolution of the direction that the apertures 6 are aligned is doubled to form an image.
