Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct shift in a chevron shape by providing a means for detecting a shift angle of a main scanning direction of an LED array with respect to a line passing through at least two light passing holes formed on a photosensitive body belt in a rotational axis direction, a rotational fulcrum for the LED array and a rotational driving means for the LED array. SOLUTION: A photosensitive body belt 2 having light passing holes 1 provided to both sides in a main scanning direction is rotationally transported. A light emitted toward the light passing holes from an LED array 3 with the photosensitive body belt 2 therebetween passes through the holes 1 and is detected by a photosensor 5. An angle difference between a straight line 6 passing through the light passing holes 1 and an axis line 7 of the LED array 3 in the main scanning direction is detected based on a time difference between the detected signals of both of the light passing holes 1. An angle of the LED array is adjusted by means of a rotational fulcrum shaft 11 and a rotational driving mechanism so that lines each passing through the LED array 3 and the respective light passing holes 1 can be made to be in parallel with each other.
