To provide an image forming body, in which an optical reaction between a light color-developing body and coloring material is prevented from developing and either fading-out or blurring of an image is prevented from developing, an image forming method and a thermal transfer sheet for the image forming body.

A visually recognizable image with visible light is formed on an image receiving sheet. In addition, an image emitting fluorescence by ultraviolet rays is formed through a protective layer. On the image receiving sheet, the visually recognizable image with visible light, the protective layer and the image emitting fluorescence by ultraviolet rays are formed in the order named. As the thermal transfer sheet for forming the imaging body, a coloring material transfer layer for forming the image visually recognizable with visible light, a protective layer transfer layer for forming the protective layer and a fluorescent color former transfer layer for forming the image emitting fluorescence by ultraviolet rays are formed on a base material sheet.
