PURPOSE: To obtain an image forming compsn. capable of being easily photohardened even in the presence of oxygen, and forming a sufficiently hard image, by using a compsn. consisting of a specified unsatd. polyester resin, a photopolymerizable unsatd. monomer and a photopolymn. initiator.
CONSTITUTION: An image forming compsn. consists of an unsatd. polyester resin having 10W50mol% allyl ether groups and 50W200 acid value, a photopolymerizable unsatd. monomer, and a photopolymn. initiator. As the photopolymerizable unsatd. monomer to be used, an ethylenically unsatd. monomer having OH or COOH is suitable, and it is especially favorable to use phosphate ester contg. a (meth)acryloyl group in combination with a polybasic acid partial ester contg. a (meth)acryloyl group. Use of this compsn. consisting of a combination of such monomers as a resist ink for print wiring permits good adhesion of the ink to a base of copper or the like, and further, effective short-time alkali washing after image forming.
