Abstract:
To keep a conveying speed of a mono-color ink ribbon constant, even when using the mono-color ink ribbon with no mark formed.SOLUTION: An image forming device comprises: forming means that makes printing means form a mark on an ink ribbon, in a case where the ink ribbon is constituted of mono-color; first deriving means that derives a winding diameter of a ribbon supply roll and a winding diameter of a ribbon winding roll, on the basis of a detected result of the formed mark with a sensor; and second deriving means that derives a rotation speed of a first motor and a rotation speed of a second motor, on the basis of the winding diameter of the ribbon supply roll and the winding diameter of the ribbon winding roll.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 15
