Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device, a control method thereof, and an image forming system in which feeding preparation action in plural feeding stages can be efficiently controlled in accordance with printing jobs.
SOLUTION: A controller 202 analyzes a printing job transferred from an external device to determine if it is a printing job to use a hand insertion feeding stage 211 in the image forming device 201, and the image forming device 201 controls lift-up action in the hand insertion feeding stage 211 based on result of determination notified by the controller 202.
