To provide an image forming device that is capable of suppressing the unauthorized use of a document after an output without using special paper previously added with an ID, and a data management terminal.

When printing a document protected by a password or the like after being downloaded from a document management server 41 (S114), the image forming device 10 generates a unique paper ID for each paper to be image-formed (S115), and executes printing while adding the paper ID to the paper (S141). When the printing is failed due to paper clogging or the like, reprinting is executed while adding a new paper ID by generating the new paper ID after discarding the paper ID of the failed paper (S141-S146). When the printing is successful, the paper ID of the paper is registered in a database 43 after being notified to the document management server 41 (S147-S149). When a job is interrupted, a deletion request of the paper ID registered before the interruption is made to the database 43.
